Nocturnal Sea started as an art company in January 2008 showcasing the artwork of John Meszaros at various art shows and shops in Long Island, New York and Central Florida.  As his experience grew, John realized his desire to reach out to the general public. As a biologist and past museum educator, John hoped to use his artistic talents to help make science fun and exciting for everyone. In June 2008, he shifted his focus to designing unique marine and nature artwork and 6 months later began offering the art on t-shirts.
